Student Council Members Meet with WPT Board of Directors

On Monday 1st May 2025, representatives from each of our secondary schools were invited to the WPT Head Office in Rotherham to meet our Board of Directors as part of their most recent Board meeting. Y8 Rotherham Boys Football Champions

On Wednesday 30th April, students from Wickersley, Rawmarsh and Thrybergh Academy took part in the final match of the Rotherham School Boys u13s Yorkshire Federation League. It was yet another successful outcome, with their 11th win out of 11 games. Throughout the season they have also beat the likes of Sheffield, Leeds, and Barnsley, scoring 65 goals and only conceding 3. They all played a huge part in the

London Marathon Success

Mr Shaw Runs the London Marathon A huge congratulations to Mr Shaw from The Gainsborough Academy who ran and completed the London Marathon yesterday in aid of pancreatic cancer. Over the holidays, we held our fifth WPT Easter Competition, which was open to all students across Wickersley Partnership Trust. To enter the competition, our students had to get creative and send us an Easter themed piece of artwork, a selfie, a photo, or a design. Mr Bartle Shortlisted in the National Teaching Awards

We are extremely proud that Josh Bartle, Assistant Headteacher at Clifton Community School, has been shortlisted as a Finalist in the ‘Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School’ category in The Pearson National Teaching Awards 2025. Last weekend (21st-23rd March), students from primary and secondary schools from across Wickersley Partnership Trust attended The Don Valley Festival 2025! The Don Valley Festival 2025, is a community event that has a strong emphasis on young talent and creativity in Doncaster and beyond. WPT Easter Staff Wellbeing Event

On the 26th March, as part of our Wellbeing Wednesday initiative, staff from across Wickersley Partnership Trust were invited to our WPT Easter Staff Wellbeing Event, to make their own Easter Egg Cheesecake!
