School Games Colour Run 2024

On Friday 17th May, 700 children from around Rotherham came together to take part in the Rotherham School Games Colour Run in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, based in North Anston.   24 schools registered their children in March, then spent the following weeks learning about Bluebell Wood’s work through assemblies etc.   Runners were then encouraged to gain sponsorship from friends and families via the JustGiving page and

Y3/4 Dynamos Open Cricket Tournament

On Wednesday 8th May, the Rotherham School Games team ran two Y3/4 Dynamos Open Cricket tournaments at Whiston Parish Church Cricket Club. WPT Cross Trust Climbing Competition

This week, the Outdoor Education Team ran a trust wide climbing competition with The Climbing Hangar and Rotherham School Games, for the schools’ climbing clubs. The students all challenged themselves and pushed their boundaries to complete climbs in a friendly competitive environment. TEKK Challenge 2024

Primary students across the Trust have all taken part in the TEKK Challenge as part of their in-classroom learning. This was in collaboration with @BETogether2013 TEKK Challenge and @HSBC_uk. WPT RE Team’s Madina Masjid Iftar Visit

The secondary RE team were invited to iftar (fast-breaking evening meal of Muslims in Ramadan) at Madina Masjid Sheffield. The team have recently completed our series of Year 7 visits to the mosque for this academic year in our Rotherham schools, these visits form part of our entitlement curriculum, enabling students to visit free of charge. Our RE colleagues attended as visitors alongside members of the police and fire service.
