On Wednesday 23rd October, as part of our weekly Wellbeing Wednesday initiative, staff from our Rotherham schools were invited to carve their own pumpkin for Halloween!   Over 150 colleagues from the 12 schools and central team were given their own carving set to try and design a spooky pumpkin, that was provided for them.   All the staff who took part had a spook-tacular time, and got very creative

A student from Monkwood Primary School has successfully raised over £1000 (and counting!) for Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the family home.    What a fantastic achievement – well done!

Clifton student, Mason, has gone above and beyond for his team and his country, placing 3rd and receiving a Bronze Medal in points fight at the World Games!   Then he went on to get another 3rd Bronze Medal in continuous.   This makes Mason 3rd in the world for both! Last week, we celebrated European Day of Languages across the Trust. The schools had a variety of activities to get everyone involved. Students watched films playing in different languages at break, they took part in language treasure hunts around school, and even brought some fabulous entries to a European Bake-off!   The students also had the opportunity to try different foods from the language they are currently learning in school,

This week marks 20 years since Mrs Booth started teaching at Aston Hall!   During this time, she has seen so many changes and taught around 600 children within the school community.    She was celebrated in style at Aston Hall, surrounded by the staff and children. On Wednesday 10th July, a selected group of Y6s, Y7s, Y8s and Y9s attended the MAT Sports Day from Wickersley, Clifton, Rawmarsh and Thrybergh.
