Thrybergh Academy at Rotherham School Games Panathlon

On Wednesday 26th February, 16 Y8 Sports Leaders from Thrybergh Academy supported the Rotherham School Games Primary Panathlon events. RCS Student’s Martial Arts Success

RCS student, Evie, is part of the Kazoku Martial Arts Team, and she practises Bo Staff in the Weapons Team. She has recently completed in the WMAC World Games Qualifiers in Stafford, and she placed 2nd in creative weapons kata, and 3rd in musical weapons kata.   With two podium finishes, she now has a place in Team GB for the WMAC World Games in Hull, in September!    She

Children’s Mental Health Week 2025

Mr Wilby Powerlifting Champion

On Saturday, Attendance Manager at The Gainsborough Academy, Mr Wilby competed at the A/BPU Powerlifting Competition, and we’re proud that he came 1st in his category.   He has now been invited to represent Great Britain at the A/WPC in Wroclaw, Poland in June and the Powerlifting Games at the NEC Birmingham in November.    Well done, Mr Wilby!
