As part of our ongoing Staff Wellbeing initiative, on Tuesday 20th October, staff from our Trust schools were invited to decorate cupcakes in a halloween theme! The event provided a creative and engaging opportunity for colleagues to take a break from their daily routines, unwind and connect with their school teams in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
129 colleagues from the 13 schools and central team were given a cupcake to decorate with frosting, coloured icing and various halloween-themed toppers. The session also included a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows for an extra cosy treat!
We recognise that our staff are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why supporting their wellbeing is a priority and initiatives, like the cupcake decorating, help strengthen relationships within school teams, create positive workplace culture and encourage colleagues to step back for a little while to do something fun.
Entering its fourth year, our wellbeing programme offers tailored activities, resources, and support for staff across all our schools. By prioritising wellbeing, we continue to build a positive and sustainable workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and empowered to deliver their best for our children and communities. We are dedicated to developing further initiatives that actively support, recognise and invest in our teams.
Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to those who organised another successful event.
