As another academic year comes to a close, our secondary schools across Wickersley Partnership Trust have celebrated a special milestone in the Y11 journey: Prom Night!
Across the Trust, students and staff came together for memorable evenings filled with celebration, reflection and recognition. After five years of hard work, growth and achievement, our proms provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate the Class of 2026 and the journey they have shared together.
Each school hosted their own unique event, featuring:
- Awards celebrating student achievements and contributions
- Meals and opportunities to spend time together
- Discos and celebrations with friends and staff
- Photobooths captured by WPT’s Media Team
While proms mark the end of an important chapter and the conclusion of GCSEs, they also celebrate much more than academic success. They recognise the personal qualities, values and behaviours our students have developed throughout their time with us.

This means supporting students to achieve their ambitions while developing the confidence, resilience and character needed for their future pathways.
Our schools are united by The School Way, our shared framework that encourages personal responsibility, pride, ambition and resilience. These celebrations were a chance not only to look back on five years of memories, friendships and achievements, but also to recognise the qualities that will support our students as they move on to sixth form, college, apprenticeships and beyond.
To the Class of 2026, congratulations! We are incredibly proud of the commitment, determination and positivity you have shown throughout your GCSE year and throughout your time with us. We wish you the very best as you await your results and look forward to welcoming you back in August to celebrate your achievements and next steps.
