And that’s a wrap on this year’s WPT Residential, and what a huge success it was! Y5s and Y6s from across the Trust took part in a two-night camp-out and got stuck into lots of exciting activities across three days.
During their time at Cranworth, the children took part in a variety of team building activities where they had to solve puzzles and work together in order to complete the tasks.
They also got a chance to take part in activities and watersports – such as kayaking and orienteering – at Ulley Reservoir. This came after a water safety workshop delivered by South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, to teach the children how to stay aware and safe while having fun on the water.
A huge thank you to the Rotherham School Games team for their hard work leading up to and during the residentials – this wouldn’t be possible without you!
Everyone had a fantastic time and were a huge credit to their schools and WPT – we can’t wait to see what next year brings…
