On Friday 9th February Rotherham School Games teamed up with Skipping School to deliver two Skipping Festivals.
17 Primary schools from across Rotherham attended the event split over a morning and afternoon session, including 3 of our Trust schools. This saw over 180 children participating in skipping and learning new skipping skills, whilst also giving them a chance to represent their school at a School Games event.
All schools attending received a giant skipping rope in order to practice some of the games they took part in. This will also allow them to continue improving the skills they have developed!
A big thank you to Chris and Adelle for running the event and bringing so much enthusiasm and energy to the two festivals. The Rotherham School Games team will be sending out information on how you can get Skipping School to come and visit your school soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
