We’re proud to launch our new Prom Bank initiative, which is designed to ensure that all Year 6 and Year 11 students within our Trust can attend their school prom without financial barriers affecting their experience.
Recognising that prom outfits can be expensive and that these costs can present a challenge for some families across Rotherham and Gainsborough, our centralised Prom Bank will enable students and families who need extra support to loan outfits and accessories for prom next summer.
We’re inviting families, businesses and charities to consider donating the following items:
- Prom dresses
- Suits
- Ties
- Shoes
- Bags
- Jewellery
- Accessories
Adult formalwear of all sizes and children’s formalwear suitable for ages 9-12 are welcomed.
We are grateful for all donations, and kindly ask that items are in good, wearable condition, with no holes, stains, or significant damage.
All donated items will be laundered where needed and stored appropriately ready for use.

Dedicated community donation days
In addition, there are two drop-off events happening soon:
- The Cutler’s Hall, Sheffield – Friday 24th July, 11am – 2pm
- Cranworth Road Centre, Rotherham – Saturday 25th July, 11am – 2pm
