Student and families were welcomed into our Trust secondary schools last night for the first of three planned Y6 Transition Evenings.
The evening provided an exciting opportunity for the next Y7 cohort to experience life at their new school, with a range of interactive taster sessions in Maths, English and Science on offer. Some even had a murder mystery theme!
Families also heard from the Senior Leadership Team, who shared key information about the transition process, school expectations and the support available to ensure every student feels confident and prepared for the move to secondary education.
Our Transition Evenings are part of our Trust’s wider Transition Programme, supporting students and families at every stage of the journey from primary to secondary school.
The programme helps students develop strong learning habits that will support their future academic success, and concludes with a rollover period designed to ease them gently into secondary life.
Thank you to all students, families and staff who attended and contributed to such a successful and enjoyable event. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the next one later this month.
