This term, Wickersley Partnership Trust proudly celebrates the careers and contributions of three dedicated colleagues as they begin their well-earned retirements: Adrienne Neal, Janet Gulliver and Pat Bingham.
Adrienne Neal
At Rawmarsh Community School, we say a fond farewell to Adrienne, Senior Exams Manager, as she embarks on an exciting new chapter. Although her time at RCS has been relatively short, she has given many years of service to our Trust, having first joined Clifton Community School in 2003. Throughout her career, she has been a valued and respected member of both her school and our wider Trust community. Her commitment and professionalism have made a lasting impact, and she will be greatly missed.
Janet Gulliver
We’re also celebrating the incredible 33 year career of Janet Gulliver, Senior Lunchtime Supervisor at Wickersley School and Sports College. Over the years, she has taken on a variety of roles, beginning as a Yard Supervisor and becoming a constant, reliable presence at the heart of the school. Known for her generosity and kindness, Janet has consistently gone above and beyond – often giving up her own time to support school events and provide refreshments for the wider community. Her warmth and willingness to help have touched the lives of countless students and staff alike.
Pat Bingham
And finally, we’re recognising the extraordinary career of Pat Bingham, Peripatetic Music Tutor, who retires after an incredible 53 years in education and music teaching, including 41 years in schools across Rotherham. Pat’s passion for music has created countless opportunities for young people, from large-scale school productions to international band tours and prestigious performances, including Euro Disney, the Rotherham Tattoo and Remembrance Sunday events. Her dedication has inspired generations of students, many of whom continue to play in brass bands she founded 27 years ago. In recognition of her outstanding contribution, she was awarded the High Sheriff Award by the Mayor of Rotherham – a fitting tribute to her lasting legacy. Now, Pat looks forward to her new chapter, splitting her time between Rotherham and France.
On behalf of everyone at Wickersley Partnership Trust, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Adrienne, Janet and Pat for their years of dedication, commitment and service. Their contributions have made a lasting difference to our schools and communities.
We wish them all a long, happy and fulfilling retirement.
