At WPT, we are committed to working towards the Gatsby benchmarks, a set of guidelines that ensure that all schools provide the very best careers education for our students. Within those guidelines, we ensure that students have access to high quality, up to date careers information, access to a highly qualified careers adviser and the opportunity to meet and visit employers and further and higher education institutions.

Our Careers Fairs give students the chance to explore the wide range of opportunities available to them after Y11, with a great mix of colleges, sixth forms, apprenticeship providers and employers in attendance.

All students represented their schools brilliantly, asking thoughtful questions and showing real interest in the different pathways open to them. It was fantastic to see them engaging so confidently with providers and beginning to think about their future careers.

A huge thank you to all of the organisations who supported the event and took the time to speak with our students. This insight plays a vital role in helping our young people make informed decisions about their next steps.
