On Thursday 5th March, staff and students across Wickersley Partnership Trust came together to celebrate World Book Day 2026.
Across all our schools, there was a fantastic atmosphere as staff and students dressed up in a range of creative costumes inspired by their favourite characters and stories. Classrooms and corridors were also beautifully decorated with themes linked to current learning and popular books.
A wide variety of World Book Day activities took place throughout the Trust, giving students plenty of opportunities to celebrate their love of reading. These included book swaps, best-dressed competitions, and engaging storytelling sessions, with many pupils excited to take part.
Reading is strongly encouraged across all WPT schools, as we believe it plays a vital role in developing confidence and lifelong learning. Events like World Book Day help to promote a love of books and remind students just how exciting reading can be.
Well done to everyone who got involved!
