On Friday evening, colleagues from across the Trust – along with our Directors, Governors and Members – came together at Magna Science Adventure Centre to celebrate the incredible achievements of the past year at the WPT Staff Awards 2025.
This year’s ceremony was our most popular yet, with an impressive 31 awards presented to colleagues who consistently go above and beyond to ensure the very best outcomes for our students.
Guests were welcomed with a festive atmosphere, including an eye-catching Christmas display and a warm greeting from talented juggler Chris Marley. Laura from CopyCat Party Company hosted the evening, guiding us through a wonderful celebration of dedication, excellence and teamwork.

During a fantastic sit-down meal, magicians Greg Chipman, Jamie Warren and Kerry Scorah amazed colleagues with an incredible showcase of close-up magic. We then handed out more than £2000 worth of raffle prizes – including breaks away, a camera, Amazon vouchers, sports event tickets, supermarket gift cards and so much more – to some very lucky winners.
The evening concluded with a lively disco, complete with plenty of brilliant (and a few delightfully questionable!) dance moves.
