Awards Assemblies 2025

Over the past few weeks, our secondary schools have been holding their Annual End of Year Awards Assemblies to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our students.

These assemblies – involving many of our students and their families – are designed to recognise and reward students for their academic success, personal development and positive contributions to school life over the past year. The awards are designed to reflect a wide range of accomplishments that highlight what it means to live by The School Ways.

The Ways promote the skills, attributes and key Trust principles our students need to develop their independence, responsibility and resilience.

Awards were presented across a variety of categories, including:

  • Individual Subject Awards
  • Attendance
  • Contributions to Anti-Bullying Initiatives
  • Embodying The School Ways
  • Outstanding Effort

These events were truly inspiring and gave everyone involved the opportunity to reflect on just how much our students have grown this academic year – both in and out of the classroom.

At Wickersley Partnership Trust, we have created a culture of praise and reward that promotes excellence in all aspects of school life: academic achievement, the development of effective learning characteristics, and positive personal qualities. We understand that recognition plays a key role in helping students become confident, capable and well-rounded citizens, and our End of Year Awards Assemblies are a perfect example of this in play.

Well done to all of our award winners this year – you have set a high standard for others to follow and you should all be incredibly proud.
