As another academic year draws to a close, secondary schools across our Trust have marked a significant milestone in their Y11 journey recently – Prom Night!
Each school hosted a memorable event for our students and staff to come together to reflect on five years of learning and growth, and to celebrate the achievements of this year’s cohort.

More than a well-earned celebration for the end of exam season, the proms also recognise the values and behaviours our students have lived during their time with us. At Wickersley Partnership Trust, we aim to send all young people into an ever-changing world, able and qualified to play their full part in it. This means not only securing academic outcomes but also developing the character and mindset needed for success after our students leave school.
All of our schools embrace The School Way – a shared framework that promotes personal responsibility, pride, ambition and resilience. These celebrations were not just about looking back on the last five years, but about recognising the qualities that will carry them forward into sixth form, college, apprenticeships, and beyond.
To the Class of 2025, congratulations! We are immensely proud of the way you have approached the challenges of your GCSE year. You have shown dedication, integrity and ambition this year and throughout your time with us. We wish you the best of luck as you await your results, and we look forward to welcoming you back into school this August to celebrate your achievements and next steps.
We would also like to thank the PTA who work tirelessly every year to organise these events, and ensure that each prom is a fitting finale to our students’ secondary school journey.
