As part of our Enrichment and Entitlement Promise, and a key element of our Personal Development Curriculum, Year 6 children from across the Trust came together on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th June to celebrate the end of their primary school journey at the WPT Y6 Prom.
This special event formed part of a wider transition project, aimed at helping children from different primary schools build relationships and ease their move into secondary education. It also gave everyone the chance to reunite with friends they had made during the WPT Residential – another core transition experience provided completely free of charge to families.
The Prom was a fantastic culmination of their primary school experience, filled with games, dancing, food, and fun. The children had a wonderful evening and were able to capture special moments with friends through the photobooth provided by the WPT Media Team.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the school staff, The CopyCat Party Company for their outstanding entertainment, and the WPT Central Team for organising and delivering this memorable, cost-free event for our Year 6 children. It was a fitting celebration that created lasting memories and supported a smooth, positive transition to the next stage of their education.
