WPT Awarded Music Mark

We are delighted to announce that Wickersley Partnership Trust  (WPT) has been awarded Music Mark status for 2024-25.

Music Mark was formed back in 2013 when the Federation of Music Services (FMS) and the National Association of Music Educators merged. It represents and supports the highest quality music education for children and young people, and we are extremely proud to become a Music Mark member.

This achievement is testament to our accessible and inclusive Music curriculum across the Trust, the high-quality Music Education our staff deliver, and our commitment to ensuring that Music is an integral part of our young peoples’ lives.

Sarah Bingham, Director of Music at Wickersley Partnership Trust, said: We are delighted to have received the Music Mark. The award reflects our commitment to providing high-quality music education and ensuring every student has the opportunity to develop their musical talents. We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for their dedication and passion for music.

Helen O’Brien, CEO of Wickersley Partnership Trust, said: “This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to high-quality music education and the dedication of our staff and students in making music a crucial part of school life.

“Well done to everyone involved—this is a fantastic accomplishment!”

Thank you to our fantastic Music Department for their commitment to delivering quality Music lessons to our students. We’re looking forward to seeing where being a Music Mark member takes us!
