Wickersley Partnership Trust (WPT) is proud to announce that Clifton Community School (CCS) has been awarded the national Quality in Careers Standard using the Career Mark approach.
The Quality in Careers Standard is the national quality award for overall careers education and guidance provision in secondary schools, colleges and Independent Training Providers.
In order to gain the award, a full audit and assessment of the careers programme was conducted, looking at how it supports students throughout their time at schools, ensuring they are ready to make their all important post-16 decisions in Year 11. Students from all year groups were interviewed about their careers education, and the students were able to explain this confidently to the assessors. They were a true credit to CCS and WPT.
Mrs J Webster, WPT Strategic Careers Lead, said, “We’re very proud of the students and staff at Clifton Community School for their hard work towards achieving the Quality in Careers Standard using the Career Mark approach. It is a testament to the strength of our careers offering at the Trust.
“Huge congratulations to all!”
Thank you to our fantastic Careers team for their commitment to ensuring our students are ready for life after school, fulfilling our aim of sending all young people into an ever-changing world, able and qualified to play their full part in it.
