Ms Jones, WPT Careers Department, said: “The 29th November, was our whole Trust careers fair for our Y11 students. They had access to a range of over 45 industries, further and higher education providers. Providing valuable insights and resources, as our Y11 students approach their post-16 crucial decision making point. Students interacted with professionals; they asked questions and learnt about study options including: Apprenticeships, A Levels, Vocational Learning and T Levels.
“Students had meaningful discussions with a wide range of professions, which was a great opportunity for them to practice their social skills, improve confidence and self esteem. Hearing directly from people in the industry helps students get a sense of what each job involves, industry growth and emerging opportunities.”
