The Directors appointed Duncan & Toplis as the auditors to the Trust from 2015/16. In 2022, following a tender process, we re-appointed Duncan & Toplis as auditors to the Trust until August 2026. Duncan & Toplis is one of the East Midlands’ leading independent firms of chartered accountants and business advisers. Their Academies Team work with academies up and down the country, and with a long history of service in the education and charity sectors, are among the UK’s leading firms of accountants and auditors to the academies sector.

Academy Trust Handbook
Academy trusts must comply with this handbook as a condition of their funding agreement. It provides an overarching framework for implementation of effective financial management and other controls, consistent with obligations as publicly funded bodies.
