Wickersley Partnership Trust is committed to promoting the mental health and well-being of all its students. At its heart, each school has a whole school ethos that allows students to feel safe, thrive and to fulfil their potential.

All Rotherham based Trust schools are part of the national trailblazer project ‘With Me in Mind’ (WMiM). This focusses on supporting the development of the positive emotional health of students.

The WMiM team consist of; a mental health lead, as well as both Senior and Educational Mental Health Practitioners. The team work alongside staff in school, students and where appropriate their Parents/Carers to tackle a range of mild to moderate mental health challenges which may include;

  • Low mood
  • Fears
  • Worries and anxieties
  • Issues with sleeping
  • Behavioural difficulties

The WMiM team work on 1:1 evidence based interventions, group work and deliver information sessions for Trust staff, students and Parents/Carers. If required, the WMiM team will facilitate improved access to specialist mental health services.

The work of the WMiM team compliments a range of school-based support for students experiencing mental health issues including whole-class work with Class Teachers, group discussions and individual interventions with Learning Mentors and/or school-based Family Support Teams which include school-based Councillors.

We have developed a student-focused With Me in Mind page which features the latest news, events and information from the With Me in Mind team.
