Ulley Activity Centre
Ulley Activity Centre is located at the side of the Reservoir at Ulley Country Park. Originally run by the Rotherham LEA, Ulley Activity centre has a long history of providing high quality Outdoor and Adventurous Activities. The Wickersley Partnership Trust took over this site in 2011 to allow this tradition to continue. Now Ulley activity centre is used as a base to run a wide variety of activities which enrich curriculum, aid students’ personal development and improve results.
Ulley Activity Centre is predominantly a water-sport centre but also offers a wide variety of land based activities on site, in the local surrounding countryside and in the Peak District National Park.
The ethos behind the Activity Centre is:
- We are child centred and students are always the priority
- Our primary objective is high quality outdoor education.
- To provide unique outdoor experiences that allows students to progress in gaining, confidence, new skills, knowledge and understanding.
Ulley Activity Centre has a small friendly team of dedicated Outdoor Practitioners who are highly experienced in the education sector. This along with our small private site makes it perfect for schools and youth groups who want a unique and special experience. Whether you want a fun day/taster session, team building activities or a robust day for a GCSE booster. Maybe you would like us to deliver some staff or inset training to help with your delivery.
If you have an enquiry, the staff at Ulley would love to find out what your needs and objectives are. We will apply our knowledge and experience to meet your expectations and deliver a high-quality service.
