Equality Month Competition!

Equality Month Competition!

This academic year at Wickersley Partnership Trust, we have been exploring the theme of ‘Equality’. All of the schools in the Trust are focusing on equality in June and students will be learning about a number of different issues and themes in lessons and assemblies.

We would like our students to take part in a cross-Trust competition by creating something on the theme of ‘Together, Unique’. The criteria is quite broad so be creative – it could be a piece of art, drama, baking, photography, poetry or a story!

What springs to mind when you hear ‘Together, Unique’?

Students can do this individually, as a group or as a class.

All entries need to be submitted to competitions@wickersleypt.org by the 25th June 2021. Please include your name, year group and school.

Good luck!

Christmas Card Competition Winners

Christmas Card Competition Winners

This December we held our second annual ‘design a Christmas card’ competition.  The competition was open to students aged 3-16 across all Wickersley Partnership Trust schools. The winning entries were turned into our Christmas card for 2020. Winning students won a supply of their own Christmas card, as well as an Amazon gift voucher and a chocolate treat!

Our annual Christmas card will be sent to all colleagues, stakeholders and friends of the Trust this week.

After careful deliberation from our expert panel of judges, 6 winning designs were picked – one each from Foundation Stage, Key Stage One, Key Stage Two and Key Stage Four. Extensive discussion ensued to choose a Key Stage Three winner – there were over a hundred entrants for this catagory alone, and after much debate and good-natured disagreement, two designs were chosen to represent Key Stage Three.

A huge congratulations to all winners, your designs were excellent! A massive thank you to every student who entered and for staff who supported our competition this year.

Same time next year? 🎄🎅🏻

Birthday Card Competition

We are so excited to reveal the winning designs for the Birthday Card competition! Each winner will receive an Amazon gift voucher, a supply of their birthday cards for friends and family, alongside a mystery prize!

Well done once again to Darcy Williams (Monkwood), Esmae Swallow (Ashwood), Faye Scott (Monkwood), Chloe Duddill (Sandhill), Isabelle Pitman (Gainsborough) and Meisha Brown (Gainsborough)!

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! Wickersley Partnership Trust is holding a ‘Design a Birthday Card’ competition! Much like we did with our Christmas cards last year, we want to get YOU involved!

To be in with a chance of winning a MYSTERY PRIZE and to have your design featured on our cards, all you have to do is create a birthday card on an A4 piece of paper or card.

To enter, send a photo of your design to competitions@wickersleypt.org, along with your full name, school and class/form. Don’t forget to keep the original design – we’ll need it if you’re a winner!

The closing date is noon on Friday 1st May, after which six winners will be chosen – one each from EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 across the Trust. Good luck!
