About the role

We are looking to appoint a proactive and committed Attendance Manager to join our team at Wickersley School and Sports College. You will focus on the school target of reducing unauthorised absence of students within the school.

The role involves:

  • Monitoring attendance, producing and analysing data
  • Maintaining regular contact with families/carers and external agencies
  • Instigating and/or actioning intervention strategies
  • Mentoring and supporting students and families to improve attendance

Our ideal candidate will have a good standard of secondary education with a GCSE in English/Maths or equivalent. You should have a background of working with young people and be an excellent communicator who is able to establish good working relationships with students and parents. You should have the determination to make a significant difference to the lives our students.

Knowledge of Bromcom is desirable, however full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
