About the role

Wickersley Partnership Trust is seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic teacher of Religious Education to join our fantastic team.
 
Our ideal candidate will have the vision to teach Religious Education to KS3 and KS4 as well as a great love for the subject and a passion for teaching enabling our students to thrive.
 
You would be joining at an exciting time as we seek to grow our team of dedicated RE teachers to ensure all students across WPT secondary schools are receiving high quality RE lessons.
 
Every department within the Trust have their very own ‘Subject Way’ and the aim of this is to teach students the vital skills they need to achieve their full potential and gain the very best grades they can.

The post is equally suitable for ECTs as well as experienced teachers, and offers an excellent opportunity to receive support through our comprehensive ECT and CPD programme.
 
Main responsibilities:
  • To teach engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve pupil attainment, modelling outstanding practice
  • To ensure high standards of teaching and learning in order to continue the drive to raise standards of attainment and ensure all students make excellent progress
  • To ensure high standards of student behaviour, in line with the school policy and procedures
