About the role
A vacancy has recently arisen for a Music Technician to provide technical support to our teaching staff.
The Music Technician supports the audio-visual, resource requirements, maintenance and repairs across all schools in the Trust. They will also provide an efficient audio-visual and lighting service for whole school/ trust events.
Your role will be vital in the planning and delivery of engaging and exciting music lessons alongside supporting extra-curricular clubs and activities. You will work as part of a team to provide excellent support to both our staff and students in the day to day running of our Music Faculty. This includes ensuring all equipment is in place for the start of each practical lesson and clearing away equipment in a suitable and timely manner.
You should be an effective communicator that works well as part of a team and passionate about your role in delivering stimulating music lessons to students.
Any previous practical experience would be an advantage.
Normal hours of work will be 8-4, but because some events take place outside normal working hours, the postholder must be flexible.
