HR Officer - Absence
About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HR Officer to join our Multi Academy Trust working within a growing, dynamic and busy Central HR Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional advice, guidance and support to managers and employees on all absence-related matters. In addition to attending meetings, you will be required to manage and monitor absence levels across the Trust, provide reports and analysis on trends and patterns, as well as having the opportunity to implement appropriate interventions and strategies to reduce absence levels and ensure that all cases are dealt with consistently and fairly.
In addition to absence management, you will also be responsible for providing a range of generalist HR support to managers and employees across the Trust. This will include advising on employment legislation, recruitment and selection, performance management, and employee relations.
Experience of working in the educational sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
