About the role

As Governance Advisor you will be an integral part of governance arrangements across the Trust. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for advising the Trustees and Local Governing Bodies on governance legislation, best practice and procedural matters.

You will work effectively with Chairs, Headteachers and the Chief Executive Officer to prepare purposeful agendas which take account of the DfE and Trust issues and priorities.

You will continually drive the effectiveness of governance practice across the Local Governing Bodies, ensuring that the correct arrangements are in place for purposeful governance.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience in the administration of governance and have a clear vision for what good governance looks like.

Day time and evening work is required in attending Local Governing Body Meetings throughout the Trust and house can be variable.
