About the role

We are seeking to appoint a Design Assistant to join the Media Team here at Wickersley Partnership Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, enthusiastic and proactive individual, and you will work within WPT and across our 13 schools on a number of digital and traditional print design projects, ranging from signage and branding to educational and marketing materials. Working alongside the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, you will work to existing branding guidelines and also develop new and innovative design methods to communicate WPT’s core vision to all stakeholders, ensuring a consistent brand identity throughout.

You’ll work with the wider Trust community to assist in promoting Trust projects such as open evenings, recruitment, praise and reward, school productions, and a host of other events and initiatives.

As our ideal candidate, you will have a proven successful background in digital and graphic design with a strong portfolio of work. You will be aware of current and emerging trends and have solid experience of Adobe Creative Cloud products. You should possess strong communication skills and a high level of computer literacy, with the ability to work as part of a team and also to lead individual projects.

The work of the Media Team is broad and varied, and experience in photography, social media, marketing and website editing may also be an advantage.

We’re a flexible team and some evening work may be required.
