About the role
The successful candidates will escort and supervise primary school age children on the Trust’s dedicated minibus transport, as they travel between their school and the Trust’s own Special Educational Needs provision. You will assist other staff in ensuring that children safely board and alight the minibuses, as well as ensuring that they remain safe during the journey.
You will need to be confident communicating with and supporting children who may sometimes exhibit challenging behaviours.
There are three separate times across the day when these journeys occur – morning, lunchtime and mid-afternoon. Prospective applicants do not need to be available every day of the week and for all of the times identified above. Please state on the application if you have any preference for days and sessions. The Trust’s Transport Manager will work with the successful candidates to rota staff on and off as needed.
