About us

At Wickersley Partnership Trust, students and learning are at the centre of everything we do. We nurture the development of knowledge, creativity, skills and understanding to help our children develop into happy, healthy, caring and successful citizens. We do this in a safe and positive learning environment where every individual is valued, self-belief is encouraged and each individual is able to achieve their full potential.

Wickersley Partnership Trust was founded in 2014 with charitable status and currently comprises of 8 primary schools and 5 secondary schools (including 1 sixth form) across Rotherham and neighbouring counties. WPT is committed to ensuring that all students have the best educational experience possible, and to do this, we recognise the importance of supporting our staff thoroughly in their professional development through the dissemination of best practice and collaboration, and through reflecting and debating on their practice. More about WPT’s vision can be found on our website.

About the role

We are looking to appoint an experienced administrator who can lead a small, effective team of administration staff and act as the Headteacher’s PA. The post is a key role in school and will make a significant contribution to the smooth running of the school. You will support the planning and development of the school’s administration support service, including reporting on data and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.

Everything we do at Thrybergh is underpinned by our passionate belief that an outstanding education is the right of every child, and a determination that such a vision is achievable. We believe in and aspire to provide an inclusive education for all. That is, high expectations of and for all students, an insistence on excellent behaviour, equal access to an academically rigorous curriculum taught by highly skilled subject specialists and a sharp focus on high value enrichment opportunities that will enable all students to excel. We will never accept that family background, socio-economic circumstances or prior attainment will inevitably limit young people’s potential and so the profile of our intake will always be a reason for our provision, and never an excuse for our outcomes.

Our students are entitled to the very best breadth and depth of provision and we are unapologetically ambitious for every student, no matter what their background, prior attainment or needs.

Our staff are entitled to an excellent package of professional development both in terms of subject and more general teaching knowledge and skills. Being part of WPT gives us the opportunity to access high quality CPD so that our staff are highly skilled practitioners, no matter their role or responsibility.

Completed application forms should be returned to e.robinson@thrybergh.com by the application deadline.

In line with our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students, the appointment will be subject to an enhanced criminal record check and satisfactory references.

Please note we operate safer recruitment and we do not accept CVs, all applicants must complete an application form in full.
