About the role

We are currently looking to appoint a Caretaker to join our Facilities Team at Rawmarsh Community School to carry out a variety of duties including supporting site security, the acceptance of deliveries, facilitating safe access for contractors, maintaining school grounds etc. Joinery skills would be advantageous but are not essential.

The position includes mornings and evening shifts that will be worked on a rotation basis, cover for weekend lettings may also be required.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, able to work on their own or as part of the team, have a flexible and open minded attitude to working, able to prioritise workloads and respond to emergencies when called upon. You will need good communication skills as well as some computer literacy.

Previous relevant experience is desirable but not essential.
