About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join Rawmarsh Community School’s friendly and supportive team. You will be providing administrative support to the SENDCO including:

  • Collating, inputting and assessing a range of data required to update the SEN Records
  • Developing systems for cross referencing this data and assisting the SENCO to analyse it for SEN purposes
  • Developing and managing the SEN filing system (including emails, record of telephone conversations), the archiving, retrieval and disposing of SEN information as appropriate
  • Liaising with primary/feeder schools and external service ensuring that all SEN information is received
  • Forwarding SEN information to transfer schools
  • Production of all letters and reports as required, including individual letters to parents, arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes, responding to telephone calls and messages etc., for the SENCO
  • Assisting in updating provision plans
  • Liaising with the Examination Administrator on Special Examination Arrangement Applications
