On Thursday 5th October, the Rotherham School Games Team, alongside Panathlon UK, hosted two Panathlon Ten Pin Bowling competitions at Hollywood Bowl Sheffield. The day saw 21 schools and over 100 children participate in the first ever Ten Pin Bowling School Games competitions in Rotherham. The event allowed participants to come and learn a new sport, as well as test their newly learnt skills against their fellow classmates and other schools. Several of the Trust Primary Schools were involved in the competition.
A big congratulations to Rawmarsh Ashwood who finished joint 1st with Listerdale Junior Academy in the morning competition, and Brinsworth Whitehill who finished as winners in the afternoon session.
We would also like to thank Howard from Panathlon UK for helping organise such a fantastic event, as well as providing fantastic prizes for all schools and participants taking part.
