256 Thrybergh Academy Students Train To Restart a Heart

On Restart a Heart Day 2021, 256 students from Thrybergh Academy were trained in CPR and learned to restart a heart.

Incredible volunteers from Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue and South Yorkshire Police gave up their time to support Restart a Heart Day.

This is part of our commitment to sending all of our young people into an ever-changing world able and qualified.

The school also welcomed one of the Queen’s Deputy Lieutenant’s for South Yorkshire – Mr Dyson.

All of the students involved are now all proud owners of a certificate to recognise their lifesaving skill.

There will be further sessions later in the year for those who missed out or didn’t take part in the extracurricular session.

It was amazing to see such a positive event in school.
