This half term, Year 3 and Year 4 at Aston Hall Junior & Infant School have been learning about The Stone Age.
In order to develop the students’ knowledge and understanding – beyond the classroom – of Stone Age lifestyles, the school arranged for Outback 2 Basics to come and deliver some workshops.
This company were stars in the Channel 4 series ‘Surviving the Stone Age’ and delivered fun and engaging activities for the children yesterday.
The students got first hand experience of Stone Age clothing, animals, tools and hunting techniques.
All children also got to grind their own slate arrowhead and model a fat lamp from clay.
