Career of the Week: Architect

Being an architect involves:

Preparing design proposals and presenting them to clients

Preparing planning applications and presentations

Producing detailed drawings, often using Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Negotiating with contractors and other professionals

Making regular site visits and making sure the build is running within the agreed time frame and budget
